This Privacy Policy explains how Kepixel AI handles account data, workspace data, tracking data, and conversion events when customers use the KePixel website, server-side tracking platform, and Conversion API tools.
KePixel is built to help ecommerce brands, agencies, and performance teams send cleaner conversion signals to advertising and analytics platforms while limiting unnecessary data collection.
Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as name, email, company name, website URL, selected plan, source settings, destination settings, billing information, support messages, and workspace activity.
When tracking is enabled, we may process technical and event data such as event name, timestamp, page URL, session identifiers, traffic source, order value, currency, order ID, and first-party identifiers configured by the customer.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the service, create workspaces, connect sources and destinations, collect events, deduplicate conversions, improve signal quality, show reports, troubleshoot setup issues, manage billing, and provide support.
KePixel does not sell customer event data. Data is sent to advertising and analytics destinations only when configured by the customer.
Tracking and Event Data
KePixel may process website, store, or app events such as page_view, view_content, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase, lead, and other events configured by the customer.
Supporting data may include cookies, click IDs, client IDs, user agent data, IP metadata, and session information to improve matching, deduplication, and delivery quality.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
KePixel may use cookies, local storage, or session identifiers to operate tracking, connect browser and server events, and support event deduplication.
Customers are responsible for implementing cookie notices, consent controls, and privacy disclosures required for their website and jurisdiction.
Data Shared with Advertising Platforms
When a customer activates a destination such as Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Snapchat, or GA4, KePixel sends conversion events and required parameters to that destination based on the customer's configuration.
Shared data may include event names, timestamps, event IDs, order value, currency, product data, click IDs, and hashed identifiers where enabled by the customer.
Customer Data and End-User Data
The customer is responsible for explaining its own data collection practices to end users and obtaining any required permissions or consents.
KePixel provides processing infrastructure and does not decide the customer's advertising, analytics, or compliance purposes.
Data Retention
We may retain data for different periods depending on data type, plan limits, support needs, billing records, security logs, and operational requirements.
Some data may be reduced or deleted after account closure or upon a valid request, subject to legal and operational obligations.
Data Security
We use access controls, role separation, operational logs, and appropriate security practices to protect account and event data.
Customers should protect API keys, access tokens, login credentials, and destination settings and should manage team permissions carefully.
International Transfers
Data may be hosted or processed through global infrastructure providers such as Google Cloud / Firebase or through the advertising platforms selected by the customer.
Using the service may involve cross-border data transfers depending on the customer's location, providers, and enabled destinations.
Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of personal data.
For end-user data related to a specific customer workspace, we may direct the request to the customer because the customer is often the data controller.
Children's Privacy
KePixel is not intended for collecting data from children or targeting children. Customers must not use the service to process children's data or sensitive data without a valid legal basis.
We may restrict or suspend routes or accounts that create privacy, security, or compliance risks.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the service changes, new destinations are added, processing methods are updated, or legal and operational requirements change.
